This month was a successful one. I closed out yet another semester of college and got a lot of great work done within the real estate space. As I close out this month and year I look back with a sense of accomplishment and a desire to do more. In this post, I’d like to cover all that happened in the month of December.

This month I got a lot of great work done in preparation for finding a tenant for my first rental property. I was able to create multiple designs for documents and a poster that will be used within my rental business. I created the documents using Canva and honestly enjoyed the process of using a new tool. Below you can see some of the documents that I created.

During the month of December, I also created a Linktree with a QR code for tenants to scan for important information. This will take them to the house rules, checkout instructions, and links to the property management software that I use if they need to create an application or make a payment.

Through the use of these things, I intend for the tenant experience to be much more streamlined and systematic. This will make management easier on my end and also create a much more professional feel for the tenants.

This month I also created a final checklist for the property. One part of the checklist involves physical things that need to be done to the property. The other part of the list involves more of the business side. This list is a final checklist of the items that I need to get done before getting a tenant into the property.

This month was an exciting one and I am really looking forward to the future as we get a tenant into the property. Keep working hard and pursue your goals. Success is just around the corner!
